Referrals
Med+DBase has an advanced inbuilt referral system. The referral system allows you to track who is being referred into your organisation and who your organisation is referring out.
Incoming referrals
Med+DBase allows you to track all incoming referrals at the point of booking, and can be enabled as part of the booking wizard. This makes is especially useful for medical organisations that have the need to track and report against who referred the patient to them. Any correspondence that is associated with the referral can be attached during the referral process. A simple search feature allows you to lookup the referrer, or optionally you can pick them from your list of referring clinics.
Outgoing referrals
Each patient registered within Med+DBase can be referred to a pre-defined list of referrers setup and defined by your organisation. This allows you to setup your own list of referrers that you may have a relationship with, and track how many patients you are referring to them. Med+DBase will also automatically create a referral letter with patient details pulled directly from the record, based on demographic details and past medical history details. Each referral can be associated with a unique reference number and a cost can also be attached. If you are paying for the patient treatment, Med+DBase can also raise a purchase order within the system and link it directly to the patient’s account.
