THE REQUIREMENT
Up until a couple of years ago, the clinic was managed using a combination of a traditional paper-based system and an online diary, but as the business was growing a solution to the increase in paperwork and complex diary management was required, and the clinic began to investigate potential options.
THE ONLINE SOLUTION
Having researched the market, Dr Rita Rakus, registered manager of the clinic, chose Med+DBase, a web-based product providing an alternative to server-based systems.

She adds: ”Not having to worry about IT, or be personally responsible for the security of important data is a much easier and safer option, and the system also offers accountability, so if a member of staff does make a mistake, it’s easy to trace what was done, and when, and quickly put it right. It’s very easy to monitor.”
